J. Steven Whisler is the retired chairman and chief executive officer of Phelps Dodge Corporation, the world?s second-largest copper producer, where he worked since 1979. During his tenure there, he held numerous senior positions, including senior vice president and general counsel, and president and chief operating officer.
Mr. Whisler serves on the board of directors for US Airways Group Inc., Brunswick Corporation and Burlington Northern Santa Fe Corporation.
Mr. Whisler, born Nov. 23, 1954, has been a director since Dec. 11, 2007. |
