Steven Buttacavoli's practice includes the representation of corporate and individual clients in a broad range of civil litigation and government investigations, as well as internal investigations intended to detect possible corporate criminal liability. He has also assisted clients in the area of litigation risk analysis and the formulation of effective compliance strategies to minimize litigation risk. As part of this work, Steven developed model compliance policies and related materials intended to minimize risk of violations of government contracting and federal anti-kickback statutes.
Steven advises clients across a wide range of businesses and industries, including food and consumer products, professional services, financial services and high technology.

Helped research and draft successful motions to dismiss derivative actions
Helped a major consumer product corporation's Brand Integrity department to coordinate anti-counterfeiting and related activities with federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies
