Mr. Justice, a partner in the Dayton office of Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP, received his undergraduate degree from Anderson University in 1981, majoring in chemistry and religion, received his Master of Divinity degree from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1987, and received his law degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 1994, where he was a published member of the Law Review and a Fellow of the Urban Morgan Institute for Human Rights. Mr. Justice served as a law clerk for the Honorable Nathaniel R. Jones of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit from 1994-1995. Since joining the litigation department in 1995, Mr. Justice has represented clients in a variety of general commercial litigation, tort, employment matters, criminal matters, and juvenile proceedings. Mr. Justice also has represented clients in a number of civil and criminal environmental matters involving product liability, air emissions, waste water management, CERCLA cost recovery, disposal of medical/infectious waste, solid waste landfills, disposal of controlled substances, and real estate transactions. Mr. Justice has also represented clients in civil rights matters involving police misconduct, municipal liability, and corrections officer misconduct. Mr. Justice is admitted to the bars of the State of Ohio, the United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, the United States Third Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. |
