Steven Andelson is a founding partner in the Cerritos office of Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo. During the past 29 years, he has exclusively represented school and community college districts in employment law, personnel and labor relations, and general public school law. Mr. Andelson is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, Central District Court, and all California state courts. He is on the School Employers Association's California Panel of Expert Advisors and has received special recognition from the Riverside County and San Bernardino County offices of education for outstanding legal services on behalf of the Inland Personnel Council. Mr. Andelson is the author of National Labor Relations Board Procedures and Practices with Reference to the Educational Employment Relations Act and the FRISK Documentation Model. He is also co-editor of the quarterly publication California Education Law Update and The Legal Handbook for California School Administrators . He lectures extensively before professional and university audiences, such as CSBA, ACSA, and CASBO, and University of Southern California, University of California, Davis, and University of California, Los Angeles.
