Steven I. Rothman, Vice Chairman, brings unique experience as a systems engineer and computer software and hardware designer. Steven created the ExplorationStation and is involved with its utilization throughout all of Zavanna's ventures. Steven continues to develop new systems and software for Zavanna, and maintains the primary links to hardware vendors and to developments in the computer field. Steven received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1969 and his M.S.E.M. from Northeastern University in 1972. Steven worked for the MITRE Corporation, a not-for-profit "think tank" created from the Lincoln Laboratories of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. While with MITRE, his assignments included work with NASA Johnson Manned Spaceflight Center in Houston and NORAD Space Computational Center in Colorado Springs. In 1981 he co-founded Bravo Resources in Glenwood, New Mexico, and turned his attention to the science of exploration in the petroleum industry. |
