Dr. Nye leads the genomics research effort at PhysioGenix with specialties in cellular and molecular biology having completed his doctoral training from Northwestern University. During the past five years, Dr. Nye has been awarded $5 million as Principal Investigator for PhysioGenix's SBIR grants in the areas of diabetes, toxicogenomics, biodefense, alcoholism and genetic models for drug target identification. Dr. Nye has helped to discover new models for use in PhysioGenix?s animal models. Prior to joining PhysioGenix, Dr. Nye was employed by several start-up biotechnology companies was an Assistant Professor at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Nye's research work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and he is an inventor on numerous patents. |
