Law Practice Steven E. Star has been an Associate of the Labor and Employment groups of Meyer, Suozzi, English & Klein, P.C. since 1999. His practice principally involves union-side labor law, including representation of unions and individual members at arbitrations, administrative hearings and appeals, state litigation and appeals, federal litigation, and extensive interaction with clients.Professional Profile Prior to joining Meyer, Suozzi, English & Klein, P.C., Mr. Star’s diverse background included time spent working for the political consulting firm handling Charles Schumer’s successful campaign for United States Senate. While a law student, he worked for a union-side labor lawyer in Cleveland, Ohio, and pursued a number of public interest law opportunities. Mr. Star was a legal intern at Case Western Reserve University’s Milton A. Kramer Law Clinic from 1996 through 1997. In the summer of 1996, he was law clerk for the Legal Aid Society in Maui, Hawaii, and a labor organizer for the Laborers’ International Union of North America.
