Steve Atkinson is a founding partner in the Cerritos office of Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo. He represents a diverse clientele in litigation, labor, and employment law matters. He specializes in representation of employers in collective bargaining negotiations, union organizing campaigns, unfair labor practice complaints and other proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board. He also handles arbitrations pursuant to collective bargaining agreements. While at Florida, Mr. Atkinson captained the cross-country team, was an All-SEC miler, was on the Dean's list, and was selected as his law school class representative. After serving a tour of duty as a First Lieutenant in the Army, Mr. Atkinson was employed as a field attorney by the NLRB in Los Angeles. Mr. Atkinson left government service in 1976 and began representing employers in their labor and employment law matters. In 1979, he started the firm. Mr. Atkinson presents and writes frequently on employment and labor relations. He is active in numerous legal and employer associations throughout Southern California. Mr. Atkinson is quoted as an expert in labor relations matters in Business Week, Los Angeles Times, Bureau of National Affairs and Cockshaw's Construction Labor News and Report. |
