Wheelwright has served on the Zions Bancorporation board of directors since 2004. He rejoined the Harvard Business School faculty as a Baker Foundation professor in 2003, after retiring in 2000 as the Edsel Bryant Ford professor of business administration.. From 1995 to 1999, Wheelwright served as senior associate dean of the M.B.A. program. He then served as senior associate dean and director of faculty hiring and planning and had oversight of distance learning. Wheelwright currently oversees the HBS Publishing Company as chairman of the board He was the Kleiner, Perkins, Caufield and Byers professor of management at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business in the 1980s. In addition to Zions, he is a board member of O.C. Tanner Company, Quantum Corporation, and CheckSum. Wheelwright received a B.S. degree from the University of Utah and a Ph.D. from Stanford. |
