Description of Practice:
Steve Wellington is a senior counsel in the firm's San Diego office. He has extensive experience in a broad array of commercial real estate areas, including acquisitions and dispositions, financing and leasing. On the dispositions front, Mr. Wellington has orchestrated the sale of numerous regional malls and various other developed and undeveloped properties. On the financing front, Mr. Wellington has represented both borrowers and lenders, and has extensive experience representing life insurance companies and conduit lenders. On the leasing front, Mr. Wellington has substantial experience representing both landlords and tenants in the retail, commercial and industrial contexts. In addition to the above, Mr. Wellington has extensive experience with issues relating to REAs for shopping centers.
Mr. Wellington is a member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of California, the San Diego County Bar Association and the International Council of Shopping Centers.
Educational History:
Mr. Wellington received his B.S., summa cum laude, from San Diego State University in 1984, and his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of San Diego in 1994. |
