Steve represents banks and other financial institutions in all aspects of their litigation, including matters involving lender liability, deposit and investment accounts, creditors' rights, employment disputes, and trust litigation. He is experienced in assisting clients with loan workouts and asset recovery actions and has represented numerous creditors in Chapter 11 bankruptcies. Steve has handled several arbitrations for broker-dealer clients before the National Association of Securities Dealers. He has also represented bank clients in connection with state and federal regulatory investigations and advises bank clients on compliance and operational issues. In addition to his financial services practice, Steve has a strong general commercial litigation background and has represented business clients in a wide variety of complex disputes, including disputes involving real estate, breach of contract, business torts, copyright, bankruptcy, and class actions. In 2006, he was appointed to serve on the National Advisory Council of the U.S. Small Business Association.
