Steve Weiss has more than 20 years' experience in business communications and financial management. Steve's corporate finance background includes positions with CBS Inc., United Newspapers Group, International Thompson and Universal Media. He is a strategic problem-solver with an extensive background in organizational development, international finance and corporate credit and debt counseling and resolution. He is a former chairman of the American Business Press (ABP), within which he served on several financial management committees. Steve is a resident of the Princeton, New Jersey area, where he lives with his wife, Janis, a homemaker, and their seventeen-year-old twin sons, Michael and Matthew, and their nine-year-old son, Eric David. Steve is a salt water and deep sea fishing enthusiast as well as an avid cyclist who has participated in several marathons. Steve is a devoted fan of Eric Clapton and all his works including Cream, Blind Faith, and The Yard Birds. Born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in Matawan, New Jersey, Steve is a former thespian who has appeared in many local plays and off-Broadway productions such as Play it again Sam, Carousel and The American Dream. Steve is the son of the late Stanley Weiss, a well-known recording engineer who earned four gold albums two for Barbara Streisand (funny girl & Barbara Streisand's greatest hits) one for Bob Dylan (New Morning) and one for Andy Williams (Shadow of Your smile) Stanley also worked with Santana, Tony Bennett, Simon & Garfunkel, Chicago, Mitch Miller, Jerry Vale, Perry Como, Blood Sweat & Tears, Poco,OC Smith. |
