Steve Swerdlow was recently appointed President of CBRE’s Western Division, one of the firm’s three geographical U.S. divisions. In this capacity, Mr. Swerdlow oversees all company operations in the division and sits on CBRE’s Americas Operations Management Board. During his seventeen year career with CBRE, Mr. Swerdlow has earned the unique distinction of having also served as President for CBRE’s New York Tri-State and Eastern Divisions. Prior to his current appointment, Mr. Swerdlow was President of CBRE’s Global Corporate Services (GCS) line of business for five years. In this capacity, he led GCS’ efforts to enhance the real estate portfolio value of over 150 companies worldwide by developing GCS’ business strategies, communicating the strategic vision and managing senior client relationships. Before joining CBRE, Mr. Swerdlow was a development officer for Hines Interests in New York. He began his professional career at the New York law firm of Barrett Smith Shapiro Simon & Armstrong, where he concentrated on a corporate law practice. |
