Steve is responsible for managing customer loyalty programmes, strategic partner alliances, customer relationship management (CRM) strategy and brand portfolio marketing / branding.
Steve manages InterContinental Hotels Group's Priority Club® Rewards, the world's largest customer loyalty programme, which allows guests to earn and redeem points for merchandise and free travel at all seven InterContinental Hotels Group brands around the world. Since Steve re-launched the programme in April 2002, the rate of growth in member activity has more than tripled and the programme has been honoured with numerous hotel loyalty programme awards. In addition to overseeing Priority Club® Rewards, Steve also heads InterContinental® Ambassador, an InterContinental Hotels & Resorts customer recognition programme that offers members a range of exclusive perks and privileges for a small annual fee.
Steve joined InterContinental Hotels Group in 2000 as Vice President, Loyalty Marketing and prior to that Steve held the position of Managing Director, Loyalty Marketing, at Continental Airlines for eight years. During his tenure in this position, he built the OnePass programme to a premier position in the airline industry being recognised as the Best Frequent Flyer Program for three consecutive years and Best Elite Level Program for seven of the eight years he managed it.
Steve holds a bachelor's degree from Gettysburg College and a master's degree in business administration from Boston College. |
