Steve Sheafor is a consultant and chief technical advisor for VizionWare. Over the past 30 years Steve has amassed an invaluable combination of integrated circuit design and business experience. Steve is a founder of two companies with successful exit strategies: Cornerstone Imaging, a high-resolution graphics company, and Sitera, the original developer of network processors. At Cornerstone, Sheafor also served as the company's CTO and director, and helped lead that company to a successful IPO in 1993. He also combined his leadership duties at Sitera as its CTO until the company's acquisition by Vitesse Semiconductor in 2000 for $750 million. Sheafor is Adjunct Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Rice University and was selected as the 2000 Entrepreneur of the Year for Boulder, Colorado. He holds BA and MSEE degrees from Rice, a Ph.D. in EE from Illinois, and an MBA from Santa Clara. |
