Steve is vice president of worldwide publishing and marketing operations for Electronic Arts, the leading gaming software company. He drives the company’s marketing principles and practices and creates the vision for implementing its global marketing infrastructure. Prior to joining EA in 2001, Steve was CEO of Spinway, a startup ISP with over 7 million subscribers. As president and CEO of Sunset Publishing Corp. from 1994 to 2000, he revived the struggling division of Time Inc., refocusing Sunset Magazine and launching a custom publishing division. Steve was Sunset’s vice president and publisher prior to becoming CEO. Steve began his publishing career in 1978, when he joined Time Inc. He went on to become ad director and U.S. ad sales manager, then vice president of Western sales from 1991 to 1993. |
