Steve Sarracino joined American Capital in December 2006 in the Technology Group's Palo Alto office and was promoted to Vice President in January 2008. He currently serves as an observer on the board of American Capital portfolio companies PeopleMedia, Moxy Media and Coghead.
Most recently he was with Paul Capital Partners, where he worked with a number of venture capital funds and led the purchase of Bank of America's $400 million venture portfolio. Prior to Paul Capital, he was with McKinsey & Co. in the Hong Kong office where he worked with companies across China and Taiwan.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Sarracino was a founder and Vice President at Merriman Curhan Ford & Co., a full service investment bank. At Merriman Curhan, Mr. Sarracino helped lead the technology investment banking effort and completed over 20 transactions. Prior to Merriman Curhan, Mr. Sarracino was an Associate in the Technology M&A Group at Robertson Stephens and an Analyst in the Merchant Banking Group and High Yield Group at CIBC World Markets.
Mr. Sarracino received an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and a B.A. in Finance with a minor in History from Southern Methodist University. |
