Steve has extensive experience working with technology and service based companies. His particular emphasis is in business development, marketing, and sales strategies designed to increase both market and mind share for his clients. Steve is the founder and General Manager of Satori Partners; a successful consulting practice since 1986. During his career he has held various corporate sales, marketing, and management positions. He was regional Sales Manager for Nolan Bushnell, Sequoia Capital funded Kiosk Company. As Service Sales Manager for McKesson Corporation, he developed and implemented numerous value-added software programs, which revolutionized the pharmaceutical, grocery, and hospital distribution industries; he supervised a staff of 85 sales and field service specialist. Steve has also consulted and/or served as interim manager for IBM, Wells Fargo Bank, National Semiconductors, and numerous emerging companies. Steve has worked with the Japanese for over 20 years. He lived in Japan for two years, where he served as a Senior Consultant to one of Japans major wholesaler of drug and healthcare products. Steve is affiliated with several Angel Investing, Venture Capital, and Private Equity investment organizations around the world. Steve’s educational specialization was in Broadcasting and Journalism at the College of San Mateo and Marketing and Advertising at Northeastern University. Steve has given lectures and seminars for a broad cross-section of the business community. He has lectured in Japan under the sponsorship of the Distribution Economics Institute of Japan, a MITI agency. |
