Steve Rosenberg is the Chief Scientific Officer of CardioDx, having responsibility for the scientific staff and progress in the areas of genomics, genetics, and informatics. Prior to joining CardioDx in 2006, Steve spent the previous 3 years as CSO of XDx, Inc., a molecular diagnostics company focused on diseases of the immune system. He led the group which developed AlloMap molecular testing for heart transplant patients, the first genomics based test in transplant immunology. In addition, Steve is currently on the Boards of Directors of KMT Hepatech and Biotech Partners, as well as the Scientific Advisory Boards of Nodality, Inc. and XDx. Prior to XDx, Steve was a consultant and visiting scholar at UC Berkeley. From 1981 to 2001 he was at Chiron Corporation where he was named one of only three Chiron Research Fellows. He received his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from UC Berkeley in 1978 and is the author of more than 40 scientific publications and an inventor on more than 20 US Patents. |
