Steve is Chairman and CEO of CaseRev. He founded the company in August 2002 with a vision to create an Internet-based software application that would automate litigation handling guidelines and replace the traditional paper based tools used to interface insurers, attorneys, adjusters and corporate counsel. Prior to founding CaseRev, Steve was a shareholder and Director of Marketing at Klinedinst, PC in their San Diego office. At Klinedinst, Steve's practice focused on litigation for his clients which included Fortune 500 companies and insurance companies. Steve tried numerous cases to jury while at Klinedinst including several in which the plaintiffs' made multi-million dollar demands. Notably, Steve obtained a defense verdict after a lengthy jury trial in the case entitled Dayton v. Highland Mobile Home Estates et. al, thought to be the first Wrongful Death case arising from alleged exposure to mold to proceed to trial in the world. Steve has a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the University of California at Santa Barbara and a Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law. |
