Steve Mix joined Nationstar Mortgage, formerly known as Centex Home Equity, in February 1997, when he was named Senior Vice President - East Retail Division. In February 1999, he was promoted to Executive Vice President - Direct Sales. Most recently, Steve was promoted to Executive Vice President - Retail Operations. Mr. Mix's primary responsibilities are to oversee all direct-to-consumer lending operations. Nationstar Mortgage direct-to-consumer operations consists of a retail branch network of approximately 75 locations across the country; and a direct sales division with three centralized call centers in Lewisville, Texas; Denver, Colorado; and Tempe, Arizona.



Mr. Mix has over 19 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Nationstar Mortgage Corporation, he was Division Senior Vice President for The Associates. At The Associates, his division was responsible for all sales activity that generated approximately $1.5 billion in loan volume annually. Prior to his promotion to Senior Vice President he held various sales and underwriting assignments that date back to 1985.



Mr. Mix earned a B.S. in marketing from Clarion University of Pennsylvania.
