Steve Miller is a Managing Director of DTZ Rockwood, serving within DTZ Rockwood’s Hospitality Services Group in Chicago. Prior to joining DTZ Rockwood, Mr. Miller was Sr. Development Officer of Strategic Hotels and Resorts, a Public Hospitality REIT, which focused on upscale-luxury hotel acquisitions and ownership. While at Strategic, Mr. Miller was involved in the acquisition of over $1.0 billion of luxury hotel assets including the renowned Westin St. Francis on San Francisco’s Union Square, the Fairmont Princess Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona, and the Four Seasons Georgetown in Washington, D.C. Prior to Strategic, Mr. Miller was President and CEO of Arlington Hospitality, Inc., a publicly traded company, and the owner of approximately 60 hotels. During his tenure at Arlington, Mr. Miller led a successful recapitalization of Arlington, culminating in the sale of substantially all of the company’s assets. Before joining Arlington, Mr. Miller served as Executive Vice President for Carlson Hotels Worldwide, Sr. Executive with Wyndham International, Vice President of Development for Interstate Hotel Corporation, and Director of Development for Embassy Suites Hotels. Mr. Miller attended the University of New Hampshire, where he received a B.S. in Hotel Business Administration. |
