As vice president for Visteon’s electronics product group, Steve Meszaros has global responsibility for core engineering, manufacturing, program launches, quality, program purchasing and business planning for electronics.
Since 2001, Meszaros was managing director, China operations and general manager, Yanfeng Visteon. He will continue to serve as general manager for Yanfeng Visteon until a successor is named. Prior to 2001, he was based for five years in Europe, where he was responsible for Visteon’s interior systems business in the United Kingdom and Germany.
In his 18-year career, first at Ford Motor Co. and then at Visteon, he has had a wide range of assignments, including manufacturing, product engineering, business development and program management.
Meszaros earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a master’s degree in manufacturing systems engineering from Stanford University.
