Steve Lee Ching Shin is Operations director of INTEC Engineering’s Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, office, responsible for the company’s business activities in Asia.
Lee offers more than 15 years of experience in engineering, construction and project management of submarine pipelines, risers, pipeline-end manifold and subsea systems in the oil and gas industry. He joined INTEC’s KL office in 1996 as a senior pipeline engineer.
On behalf of INTEC, he has sponsored projects including follow-on engineering services for the Murphy Kikeh Field Development project offshore Sabah, Malaysia; the Brunei Shell conceptual and detailed design for Champion Southeast Water Injection Pipelines and Umbilicals project offshore Brunei; and the ExxonMobil detailed design for the Tapis F gas pipeline project on Peninsula Malaysia.
Lee holds a bachelor’s of science degree in civil engineering from the University of Mississippi at Oxford and a master’s of science degree in engineering science, also from the University of Mississippi.
He is a member of the Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society; the Chi Epsilon Civil Engineering Honor Society; and the Board of Engineers Malaysia. |
