Steve Lebow is a Managing Partner in GRP's Los Angeles office and a co-founder. Prior to GRP, he spent 17 years at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette in a variety of positions, most recently as head of the Retailing Group within the Investment Banking Division. Since 1983, he has been an active private equity investor in the retail sector through DLJ's Merchant Banking Group. In 1986, Lebow opened DLJ's Los Angeles investment banking office and was responsible for building the largest U.S. satellite office of any investment bank. He received a BA magna cum laude in Political Science and Economics from UCLA, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa, and an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Lebow currently sits on the boards of Dick's Sporting Goods, Net Asset Management, and Ulta Salon, Cosmetics & Fragrance. |
