r. LaPorte has had a long and distinguished career in the medical device industry including 27 years at Medtronic, including more than a decade as vice president and general manager of multiple divisions, including electrophysiology systems, drug delivery, and, most recently, Neuroventures. In these roles, he had extensive general operational and management experience as well as broad strategic planning and execution duties. LaPorte holds a BS in Mathematics and Computer Science, University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point, and an MBA from the University of Minnesota. Steve also holds a part-time role as Venture Partner for Onset Ventures, a technology venture capital firm based in Menlo Park, CA |
