Steve is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in engineering in 1985. He also attended the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School, receiving his Master of Science degree in operations in 1991. Not finished there, Steve attended the Georgia Institute of Technology, receiving his Master of Science degree in international logistics in 2002. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps. For 10 years, rising to the rank of major before entering the commercial sector. Steve has more than a decade of global automotive logistics and supply chain management experience in the automotive field, from inbound to manufacturing, aftermarket service parts and finished vehicle distribution. Prior to joining CEVA, Steve was vice president of global automotive services with Eagle Global Logistics. Before that he served in several key management positions with Schneider Logistics (director of operations and, later, vice president of automotive supply chain management) and FedEx Logistics (managing director, central/eastern operations). Steve has been with CEVA since late 2005 and is responsible for all operations and business development functions within the company's automotive logistics sector as it pertains to General Motors, Ford and DaimlerChrysler. This includes both inbound to manufacturing and outbound to distribution. |
