Prior to joining SonicWALL, Steve Franzese was Senior Vice President of Strategy and Chief Marketing Officer for Philips Components where he drove customer-focused innovation at the platform level to deliver value in the form of unique solutions. Before Philips, Mr. Franzese was Palm, Inc.'s first vice president of eMarketing. He steered the company website which emerged as the number one location for PDA software downloads and thus enabled Palm to participate in this profitable recurring revenue stream. Mr. Franzese also spent ten years at Apple Computer where he led the company's multimedia and online initiatives, including the company's much-lauded endeavors in interactive shopping and its ground-breaking live event webcasting. Prior to his Silicon Valley experience, Mr. Franzese spent ten years at GE working in Corporate Strategy and also in marketing and general management positions in GE Lighting.
Mr. Franzese has an MBA in marketing from Columbia University. A native New Yorker, Mr. Franzese also holds a BS from Columbia University School of Engineering & Applied Science. |
