In his role as Vice President of Quality & Advanced Engineering, Mr. Dickerson is responsible for Metaldyne's corporate quality initiatives. Also, his group is responsible for the process design & launch of new programs, business systems, engineering systems and logistics.
Since joining Metaldyne in August 2004, he has held several management roles including General Manager of Metaldyne’s North American Forging Division.
Before joining Metaldyne, Mr. Dickerson was President of Custom Molders, Inc., a plastic injection molding company in North Carolina. Previously, he served as Vice President of Manufacturing for GKN Automotive, where he was responsible for five plants within North and South Carolina.
Prior to his work at GKN, he held various positions at ITT Automotive, including Director of ITT Brake Systems North America, and Plant Manager at ITT’s Asheville, North Carolina plant. Prior to ITT, he was Director of Brake Operations for Delco Chassis (now Delphi) in Dayton, Ohio.
Mr. Dickerson holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree from General Motors Institute, as well as a Master’s of Business Administration degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration. |
