As operations manager, Mr. Davies is responsible for all in-house residential construction and select third party clients. His duties include working closely with the development team to provide design development cost analysis, value engineering studies, and all aspects of pre-construction work, including the establishment of Guaranteed Maximum Prices (GMP). Mr. Davies manages multiple ongoing construction projects through a staff of project managers, assistant project managers, and site superintendents within areas including oversight of budgets, purchasing, scheduling, quality control, and production. He is currently working on a number of projects, such as Charles Village East, a mixed-use site comprised of 68 high-end apartments, 12,500-square feet of retail space, and a 100-space parking garage, and 1209 North Charles, another mixed-use site comprised of 83 condominiums and ground-floor retail supported by two levels of parking. He also worked on Centerpoint, a third mixed-use site that includes 288 apartments, 50,000-square feet of retail space, and a 400-space multi-level parking facility. Mr. Davies obtained a degree in Quantity Surveying and an Associate Membership of the Institute of Quantity Surveyors in Manchester, England.
