Steve Dalton joined Quantum in 2005 as vice president of engineering in Quantum’s storage systems group and was named senior vice president for Tiered Storage Systems (TSS) engineering in 2006. In 2007, he assumed responsibility for all of engineering. Before joining Quantum, Dalton was general manager for the SAN business unit in Broadcom’s enterprise storage business, and prior to that, served as president and CEO of Gadzoox Networks, Inc. His extensive leadership experience also spans multiple management positions at Force Computers, Auspex Systems, Inc., Streamlogic, Silicon Graphics, Inc. and Convergent Technologies. Dalton has co-authored and published a book, as well as written many whitepapers on I/O computing for enterprise applications. |
