Steve Bailey is Senior Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Loan Administration, for Countrywide Financial Corporation, (NYSE: CFC), a diversified financial services provider and member of the S&P 500, and its principal subsidiary Countrywide Home Loans, Inc. and related subsidiaries Landsafe Default Title, Countrywide Tax Services, and Countrywide Field Services.
Mr. Bailey is responsible for overseeing the companys loan servicing operations, which encompasses a workforce of approximately 7,000 employees at corporate facilities in California and Texas.
Mr. Bailey has held a variety of management and leadership positions, including Senior Vice President of the Customer Contact group, Executive Vice President of Loan Administration and Managing Director, COO of Loan Administration since joining Countrywide in 1985. He has also led several loan servicing departments, including Collections, Special Loans, Escrow Review and Loan Administration Support. Mr. Bailey was instrumental in streamlining call processing, having implemented business solutions such as phone log tracking systems, smart call routing, consolidated call type screen and supervisory certification programs.
