Dr. Baker pioneered the use of the carbon dioxide (CO2) laser to repair drooping eyelids (blepharoplasty) in 1980 and authored the first paper published on the subject in the world in 1984. Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology in 1979, Dr. Baker limits his private practice to Oculo-Plastic, reconstructive and laser facial aesthetic surgery. He is a fellow of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology . Dr. Baker serves on the board of trustees of the International Society of Cosmetic Laser Surgeons and serves on the editorial board for the Video Journal of Ophthalmology and the Eyenet publication of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. |
