Mr. Brinkley has served as either Chairman of the Board or Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of the Company since 1989. Mr. Brinkley serves as a Director of Albemarle & Bond Holdings plc, which the Company owns approximately 29%. In addition, Mr. Brinkley is President and Chairman of the Board of MS Pawn Corporation, the general partner of MS Pawn Limited Partnership. Mr. Brinkley has also served as Chairman of the Board or Chairman of the Executive Committee of Crescent Jewelers, Inc., an affiliate of the Company, since 1988 and currently serves as Chief Executive Officer. Crescent Jewelers, Inc., a private company, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in August 2004. From 1990 to December 2003, he served as Chairman of the Board or Chairman of the Executive Committee of Friedman's, Inc., also an affiliate of the Company. From 1986 to 1990, Mr. Brinkley served as a Managing Director of Morgan Schiff & Co., Inc., an affiliate of the Company. |
