BACKGROUND: Stephenie is a shareholder in the firm's Tampa office and is a native of Clearwater, Florida. She attended The Florida State University, on a Florida Academic Scholarship, earning a Bachelor of Science degree and Stetson University College of Law earning a Juris Doctor degree. Stephenie is a trial lawyer focusing on creditors' rights, bankruptcy law and commercial litigation. For two years following graduation from law school, Stephenie clerked for the Honorable Alexander L. Paskay, Chief Bankruptcy Judge for the Middle District of Florida. During her career, Stephenie has represented banks, lenders, other financial entities, and individuals in Chapter 11, Chapter 13, and Chapter 7 bankruptcy cases, as well as in breach of contract, breach of warranty, foreclosure, and replevin cases. In addition to these representations, Stephenie has represented Chapter 11 Trustees, and Unsecured Creditors' Committees in Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases. Stephenie's litigation experience includes representation in state and federal trial and appellate courts.
