As executive vice president general counsel and corporate secretary Stephen Yu is responsible for the legal affairs of the company including intellectual property protection licensing corporate securities and M&A litigation and corporate governance.Before joining Macrovision Mr. Yu served as vice president general counsel and secretary of Aspect Communications Corporation Riverstone Networks Inc. and Palm Inc. He also held various positions within the legal department of 3Com Corporation. Mr. Yu began his legal career as a corporate associate attorney with the Gray Cary Ware & Freidenrich law firm in Palo Alto California now DLA Piper Rudnick Gray Cary. He is a member of the California State Bar and received a Juris Doctor degree cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Purdue University. |
