Mr. Worsley's experience in senior licensing and business development positions in the biotechnology industry spans more than 12 years. Prior to joining Raven, Mr. Worsley was Director of Business Development at Abgenix, Inc., where he was responsible for commercial and business development activities. During his tenure, he executed several joint venture agreements including the outlicensing of the company's flagship antibody product candidates, ABX-EGF and ABX-CBL; managed platform technology outlicensing deals involving the XenoMouse® technology with major pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies; and executed a number of in-licensing alliances with major biotechnology companies involving late-stage validated targets. Previous to that, Mr. Worsley was Director of Business Development at Tripos, Inc., where his primary role was to evaluate, negotiate, and execute new licensing ventures. Mr. Worsley holds an MBA from the University of Washington and a BA in International Finance and Economics from the University of Utah. |
