Stephen joined The Oil & Gas Asset Clearinghouse ULC in 2007 from ConocoPhillips Canada and brings with him 25 years of experience in all aspects of the land profession. During his tenure at ConocoPhillips he handled positions as both a Mineral and Surface Landman. He was also responsible for moving their undeveloped land portfolio on to the market. From 2000 to 2002, Stephen was employed as a Landman at National Fuel and from 1987 to 2000 worked in various capacities in the land department at Chevron Canada . From 1997 to 2000 he was employed in the Land Acquisition and Divesture Group with Chevron and negotiated over $80 million in property sales. From 1993 to 1996 he was a Surface Landman working in Manitoba , Saskatchewan and Alberta . Prior to 1996 he handled various administration duties at both Chevron and BP Canada. Stephen is a 1981 graduate from Mount Royal College in Calgary , where he earned a Diploma in Petroleum and Mineral Land Management. From 1990 to 1998, while still employed at Chevron full time, Stephen enrolled in classes on a part time basis at the University of Calgary and completed his BA Degree in Law and Society. He has also been a very active member with the Canadian Association of the Petroleum Landmen over the past 10 years . |
