Steve Vintz has served as Chief Financial Officer of Vocus since January 2001 and brings more than 16 years of financial, operational and strategic planning experience in the high technology industry working with both public and private companies. At Vocus, Vintz oversees all financial, legal, HR and administration functions. Vintz has led the company through a period of rapid growth and expansion, including an initial public offering, a recently completed follow-on offering and three acquisitions. Vocus was ranked by IPOfinancial.com as the 11th best performing stock out of 273 initial public offerings completed since December 2005 and named to the Deloitte Fast 500 list of fastest growing technology companies in North America for 6 consecutive years.
Prior to Vocus, Vintz was the Vice President of Strategic Planning and Analysis at Snyder Communications, a NYSE listed advertising and marketing services company. During his tenure at Snyder, Vintz played a lead role in the execution and integration of over 45 acquisitions and oversaw growth from $86 million in revenue with 300 employees to nearly $1 billion in revenue with 9,000 employees. Snyder was sold to Havas Advertising for $2.2 billion in September of 2000.
Prior to Snyder, Vintz was a manager with Ernst & Young. Vintz is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and earned his bachelor of business administration degree from Loyola College Sellinger School of Business. Vintz currently serves on the Board of Directors of Fishbowl Marketing.
