Mr. Stephen Scuderi (BSME, BSEE, JD, MIP), Outside Legal Counsel, was a design engineer for more than 20 years before entering private practice as a patent attorney in 1998. His practice involves all phases of Intellectual Property law with emphasis in the software, electrical and mechanical arts. He has advised national and international clients on such issues as patent and trademark prosecution strategies, reexamination filings, infringement and patentability opinions, licensing and litigation. He is an active member of the American Intellectual Property Lawyers Association (AIPLA), primarily focusing on AIPLA’s Japan Practice Committee. Steve has authored and presented seminars regularly in both the United States and Japan on current developments in US and Japanese patent law. As outside counsel, he will be responsible for all intellectual property matters and will assist in the technical management of the Scuderi Group, LLC.
