Stephen Perry is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Claritage, a private equity firm based in New York and Tokyo which was organized to capitalize on selective investment opportunities in the U.S. and Asia. Prior to founding Claritage, Mr. Perry was a Managing Director at Kirkland Investors LLC, a private equity investment firm in New York, and a Director at Alliance Gaming Corporation. Prior to joining Kirkland, Mr. Perry was one of the founding partners of a group of partnerships that evolved to become Signature Resorts, a vacation ownership developer which was founded in 1992 and grew from a start-up to a firm with sales of over $500 million and a market capitalization of approximately $1 billion by 1998. Mr. Perry was also employed with Trammell Crow and the investment banking division of Goldman Sachs. Mr. Perry received his MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and completed his undergraduate education at Harvard University. He is also a Trustee of the Stanford University Graduate School of Business Trust, an advisor to the W.E.B. DuBois Institute of Harvard University, and a member of the James Madison Council, a private sector advisory body to the Library of Congress. |
