Stephen joined Crawford & Company in May 2002 as UK Financial Controller, taking over full Executive responsibility for Finance in the UK with effect from August 2003 and appointed to the UK Board in May 2004.
Stephen began his professional career as an accountant for a mining and aggregates company before moving into the insurance industry in 1988, qualifying as a Chartered Management Accountant a year later. Prior to joining Crawford, Stephen spent over 14 years working within the insurance industry for various composite insurers and insurance service providers. Roles performed included a number of financial and non-financial responsibilities within the London Market and with direct insurers. In June 2006, Stephen became Finance Director for the EMEA region. |
