Steve is USi's Chief Executive Officer and AT&T's Vice President of Hosting and Application Services. Steve's responsibilities include setting strategic direction and providing ongoing leadership for the executive team responsible for AT&T's Hosting and Application Services business, of which USi is a part. AT&T's hosting business is the second largest in North America. Steve joined USi as Chief Operating Officer (COO) in 2003. As COO, he was responsible for USi's global operations and service delivery, with a specific focus on enhancing and expanding industry-leading services. Before joining USi, Steve served as Chief Executive Officer and Vice Chairman of Scient, Inc., an Internet consulting and services company. There, he began as Chief Operating Officer, growing the company from a start-up to approximately 2,000 professionals and attaining a market capitalization of over $2 billion (at its peak). Previously, he held multiple positions at IBM, including General Manager of Global Telecommunications & Media Solutions and COO of the IBM Consulting Group. As General Manager of Global Telecommunications, he helped grow business volume, gaining market share, and served as a member of IBM's Worldwide Management Committee, Senior Management Group and the Corporate Technology Council. In 1993, he co-led the effort to merge all IBM consulting into a single, integrated organization. In addition, Steve held positions with Coopers & Lybrand Consulting Services, Booz, Allen & Hamilton and Western Union Telegraph Company. He resides in Ridgefield, Connecticut, and Annapolis, Maryland, with his wife, and has two sons. |
