Steve's extensive experience in the news media and corporate public relations has provided a solid foundation for Maita-Saviano Public Relations.

Steve helps companies ranging from high-tech start-ups to Fortune 500 firms communicate better. He provides strategic counsel and project management, oversees financial operations, and helps manage business development.

Before starting Maita-Saviano, Steve was a corporate communications director at Pacific Bell and its parent company, Pacific Telesis Group. Prior to that, Steve enjoyed a successful 11-year-career as a financial writer for the San Francisco Chronicle, Oakland Tribune and other news organizations.

With more than 20 years of media and corporate experience, Steve has gained a valuable perspective on what works and what doesn't in PR. His work has been honored by the Society of Professional Journalists, the Public Relations Society of America, and the International Association of Business Communicators. Steve received a bachelors degree in journalism from San Jose State University.
