Stephen Locko, MBA has over 25 years of experience in nearly every aspect of the rapidly changing world of financial services arena, with a recent emphasis working in the high net worth client market served by sophisticated insurance and investment professionals. His expertise includes providing marketing, sales and technical support in the use of insurance in large case financial planning, including some of the most current tax, estate, and retirement planning strategies now available. A graduate of UCLA in Economics, with degrees in Computer Science and a Masters in Business Administration with an emphasis in strategic management, Mr. Locko began his career with Prudential in agency support, then became national sales manager for a specialty lines insurance group serving both institutional and managing general agency clients. Steve then operated as a consultant and as subsidiary president for several NYSE firms, and formed new marketing and sales subsidiaries for a number of financial institutions before returning to his work with independent and entrepreneurial insurance and financial service marketing organizations. He was also an accredited ABA attorney continuing education provider, has participated in national webcasts regarding insurance and financial planning, is participating as contributing author for an upcoming book, and has been published in the Wall Street Journal. Mr. Locko formed his own marketing firm in 1994, and since 1996 has worked with producers, joining in 2001 an independent marketing organization in the area of recruitment, marketing and sales, individual sales development, and developing and implementing new planning concepts for producers. His efforts led to significant increases in agency distribution and new agent productivity nationwide. Beyond his insurance credentials, Steve also holds multiple securities and SEC licenses as a prior principal of brokerage and investment advisory firms. Mr. Locko saw in ISN an opportunity to work with a team of innovative and experienced professionals dedicated to helping producers serve their clients, and joined ISN as Executive Vice President of Marketing in December, 2004. |
