Mr. Johnson has more than 25 years' experience in journalism, politics, public relations and business development. He began his career in journalism as an editor at The Boston Globe. Mr. Johnson later worked as an editor and writer at The Des Moines Register and The Washington Star. During two tours in London, he served as European News Director for Fairchild Publications of New York and as Editor of European Tech Wire. Mr. Johnson worked in Washington as press secretary and speechwriter for two United States Senators, and then as vice president of Hill and Knowlton Public Affairs Worldwide in Washington and as vice president for Buson Marsteller in Toronto. He joined HireStrategy as director of corporate communications in 2000 and helped grow the firm into the top-ranked staffing firm in the Washington area and a Inc. 500 ranking. Mr. Johnson joined WorthPoint in January 2007. He currently serves as a director of the Business Alliance of George Mason University. Mr. Johnson earned a bachelor's degree in history from Grinnell College, two master's degrees in international law and economics from The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University, and a master's degree in theology from the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, California. |
