In his role as Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel, Stephen Horn oversees litigation, provides legal counsel and focuses on loss prevention for Dunkin’ Brands.
Prior to joining Dunkin' Brands in 1998, Stephen provided outside legal counsel to the organization for ten years in his work with Schmeltzer, Aptaker and Shepard in Washington, D.C. A former prosecutor for the U.S. Department of Justice, Stephen is also a published author. His first novel, In Her Defense, was published in 1999, followed by a second novel, Law of Gravity, in 2002.
Stephen received a juris doctor degree, cum laude, at the Seton Hall College of Law and a bachelor's degree in engineering at Rutgers University. He is a member of the American Bar Association and the bars in the District of Columbia and Maryland. He has also served on the International Franchise Association’s Board of Directors and is currently Director of the National Council of Chain Restaurants. |
