Stephen Holzen is an Associate in Ocean Tomo's Washington, D.C. office working in both the Valuation practice as well as Expert Services.
Previously, Mr. Holzen spent six years with the United States Patent and Trademark Office as a Patent Examiner specializing in Aeronautics and Astronautics. His role included researching the scope of the prior art, authoring patentability opinions regarding novelty, obviousness, and utility, and negotiating allowable subject matter.
Prior to this, Mr. Holzen worked as Sales Engineer with Mitsubishi Electric Power Product Inc. selling Large Power Transformers and SF6 Gas Insulated Substations.
Mr. Holzen holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University and an M.B.A (with honors) from the Kogod School of Business at American University. He also is registered to represent clients before the USPTO (Patent Agent Reg. #56,008). |
