Steve has been a Partner with Canaan Partners since November 1991. He has a broad background in financing companies involved in manufacturing, retailing, radio, television, and cable broadcasting as well as financial services. Steve began his career with GE in 1973 and held a variety of financial positions. From 1983 to 1991, he was with GE Venture Capital and GE Capital's Corporate Finance Group, providing debt and equity financing for start-up companies and leveraged buyouts.
Steve is a graduate of Amherst College and, in addition to serving on cMarket's Board of Directors, serves on the Board of Directors of The Active Network, Dean Foods and Verance. |
