Dr. Gomez earned his Masters of Biology and Ph.D. in Molecular, Cell and Development Biology at the University of California. He also holds a bachelors degree in Biology from the California Institute of Technology, Pasadena. Dr. Gomez most recently worked as an associate research scientist at Lovelace Respiratory Research Institute in Albuquerque. He was previously an instructor in Genetics at the University of New Mexico, and consultant to national laboratories, including UCLA. With extensive experience with membrane proteins involved in photosynthesis, Dr. Gomez is the author of nearly a dozen publications on proteomics, including his dissertation on pigment-binding proteins while at the University of California, Los Angeles. |
